Naimeg Estate Specialty Coffee
Naimeg Estate Specialty Coffee was the 4th stop on our Trip to Origin 2025, offering a meaningful encounter with a family legacy deeply rooted in specialty coffee excellence.
The Naimeg family’s journey began in 1965, when Gerson Naimeg started growing coffee in Paraná. After facing severe climatic challenges, the family relocated to the Cerrado Mineiro, where they found the ideal conditions to rebuild and refine their production, combining tradition, innovation, and respect for terroir. Today, this legacy continues through a family-driven operation focused on quality and consistency.
Located primarily in the Coromandel region of Minas Gerais, the family’s farms sit at altitudes ranging from 1,050 to 1,150 meters — ideal conditions for producing coffees with complex and well-defined sensory profiles. Multiple varieties are cultivated under careful management, with a strong emphasis on excellence at every stage.
During our visit, we had a comprehensive presentation of the farm, followed by an in-depth post-harvest visit, where we observed the processes that ensure traceability, quality control, and consistency across each lot. The experience concluded with a cupping session, highlighting the identity of Naimeg coffees and the expressive potential of the Cerrado Mineiro terroir.

Recognized for award-winning coffees and for achieving scores above 90 points, Naimeg Estate Specialty Coffee stands out for its balance between family tradition, modern management, and continuous innovation — delivering coffees that truly reflect origin, history, and purpose.
An essential stop on our Trip to Origin, reinforcing why the Cerrado Mineiro remains one of Brazil’s most consistent and respected regions for specialty coffee production.
